TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade — The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
